Beverley Jones was born in Oxford and trained as an artist in Cheltenham and London. She returned to Oxford 20 years ago, and is a member of the Oxford Art Society.
She has exhibited her work in the city and across the UK, and frequently hosted open studios so that people can see where and how she works. She paints in oils and watercolours, always aiming to capturing people's experience of their environment, whether that is their own private garden or the open spaces of the British landscape.
“For me, the creative process involves exploring my feelings about the forms and colours of the environments in which I have lived and travelled.”
